Journey To Light

As well as writing about my travels I also like to capture images of the world around me, recording fleeting moments in time as I travel my path. I have no particular favourite theme or genre, preferring instead to play around with seascapes, street scenes, nature, portraits etc. I try to be as spontaneous as possible letting the picture come to me as much as I go towards it. A kind of natural two-step dance between me and the world. Philosophers would call this duality. Ultimately, I believe we are all made of the same stuff, and experience the same gamut of feelings and emotions, just from differing perspectives. I believe that light can reveal a universal truth in everything, something which I hope to convey in my pictures as I evoke, enlighten or even provoke a little, but mainly I hope to lift your spirits and maybe make you smile.
