About

Welcome to my world of wanders with a camera. I’m drawn to capturing images of the world around me as I make my path, losing myself in the great outdoors, by the sea, in a forest or up a mountain. Now and then a poem might arise and be shared.

I follow no particular theme or genre. I like both colour and monochrome, wide-angle seascapes and landscapes, and the close up world of trees, plants and animals. You may also see the occasional classic car. I try to be spontaneous letting the picture come to me as much as I go towards it, like a two-step dance between me and the world. Philosophers would call this duality.

Ultimately, we are all made of stardust just experiencing the world from different perspectives. As a photographer I am always working with available light playing around with apertures and shutter speeds etc. to manifest an image. Light is revelatory and exposes universal truths which I sometimes try to convey in my pictures and poems. I hope my visual storytelling will lift your spirits and brighten your day.
